Clay Animation Idea Pad. The idea pad can also be used to create and then test animate characters. To animate - switch the drawing tool being used to a shape and then change the FLASH MODE from none to mode A,B,C,D or Random, then draw the shape. Then the idea pad window can be minimized to the desktop so you can visit other clay animator web pages to get further clay ideas. at any time the idea pad can be restored to full size to continue adding your ideas to it open the idea pad in its own window. Example of Clayton Animated. Saving and Loading procedures. Click on the save button. The saving code screen will appear. This is the code created from the current drawing project. The code can then be copied and pasted into a text document and then saved. The saved code in the text document can be used later and placed back into the Idea Pad for further character development. To copy and paste the Saving Code into a text document highlight the Saving code by left clicking on the mouse and then dragging the mouse over the entire text. When the code is fully highlighted right click on the highlighted code area. The web browser menu box will appear, select the copy option. The code has now been copied into the computer memory. Now open any program that supports text such as Notepad, WordPad, and Word etc. Open a new document with in the text based program and right click then select paste. The Idea Pad code now is pasted into the text document. Save the text document with the text program as any other document would be saved. The saved text document can then be copied and pasted back into the idea pad using the same process to view and edit your project at a later date.
